Ballpark: new ballpark to be completed in 2009
On December 20, 2007 the Frontier League announced that the Slippery Rock Sliders have been sold to Baseball Heroes Of Oakland County. They team will operate on the road as the Midwest Sliders in 2008 before moving to a new ballpark in Waterford Township, MI in 2009. They will then be known as the Oakland County Cruisers.
